Aurora, N. Y.—On Tuesday, November 5, the Inns of Aurora will kick off its cooking class series with Holiday Cooking 101, focusing on preparing the basics for your holiday table. The class runs from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and costs $120 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. The price includes a full meal, served at 8:30 p.m., of the dishes prepared throughout the class. Space is extremely limited.
Unlike other cooking classes that are in effect demos, cooking classes at the Inns of Aurora feature hands-on cooking with only a short demonstration portion. Holiday Cooking 101, an especially small class, offers three teachers for eight students, helping to ensure personal attention and perfected dishes. Executive Chef Patrick Higgins especially enjoys the class, as he “enjoy[s] getting to know the guests and making them feel like family.”
For this class, participants will create and enjoy the makings for a traditional 12-person holiday feast. The class will also offer recommendations for wine pairings for each course.
