This weekend, we'll be hosting Rockin' Boots on Friday night, with Michael Lucey taking the stage Saturday afternoon. SIX EIGHTY CELLARS
OUR STORY
At Six Eighty Cellars, we believe the past creates our future. 2 million years ago, the Finger Lakes were formed by receding glaciers, leaving deep, pristine lakes and steeply sloped hillsides, ideal for grape growing. Fast forward to 2020, when the property was purchased by the owners of Buttonwood Grove, Dave and Melissa Pittard. Attracted by the property’s well-established vines overlooking Cayuga Lake, Dave and Melissa saw the opportunity to create an exciting new style of wines rarely seen in the Finger Lakes region, using ancient-style clay, stone, terracotta, and cement vessels for the winemaking process.
SIX EIGHTY - THE NAME
Rising 680 feet from the bottom of the lake to the uppermost point of the vineyards, the panoramic view reflects our unfettered and adventurous vision for our winemaking process. This dramatic rise in elevation is integral to successful viticulture, providing prime growing conditions for our classic vinifera grapes. Our minimal intervention winemaking philosophy is a natural extension of our sustainable farming practices. Meticulous attention to our greatest assets, the soil and vines, ensures the long-term health of our vineyards and reduces our environmental footprint. Planted in 2009, these vineyards contain a wide variety of classic vinifera grapes. An emphasis on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, along with such lesser-known grapes as Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Meunier, sets us apart from neighboring vineyards and allows our creative instincts to unfold.

HOURS
During June, we will be open Friday through Sunday, 10:00 - 5:00, for bottle purchases and onsite consumption. Our dynamic new tasting program and fully-renovated tasting room are in the development stages, and will open later this summer. Until that time, we invite you to stop by to enjoy a bottle on our lawn overlooking the vineyards and lake. Temporary indoor seating in our production area is also available.
LODGING
On site lodging is available at our newly remodeled guest property, Five Thirteen House, located on the edge of the vineyards overlooking Cayuga Lake. The open-concept kitchen and living room are the highlight of this unique vacation home. Upstairs is a loft-style primary bedroom and master bath. A second bedroom is located on the ground floor, with a full bathroom directly across the hall. A covered porch with dining area completes the layout. Bookings may be made directly through our AirBnB listing.

We provide full table-side service, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and fresh baked bread with artisan cheese to complement your wine tasting. Seating is available both indoors and on our covered porch with a spectacular panoramic lake view.
As seasonal traffic to the tasting room rapidly increases, we highly recommend that you make a reservation for your visit, and have an array of tasting options available. Let us create a customized experience specially tailored to fit your style!

If you've been thinking about staying in one of our cabins this season, the time to book is now! Reservations are nearly full for the summer, but we still have a few dates available. You deserve a vacation - get away from the hustle and bustle without the hassle in our fully furnished cabins. Each one is equipped with a comfy bed, sitting room, tv, bathroom, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, and coffee maker, and we even provide linens and towels! Outside, you can enjoy an evening around the fire pit while dinner sizzles on the grill.
