Shining the Moon on the Ukraine
On Sunday, March 27, Moondog's Lounge, at 24 State Street in Auburn, will host a musical benefit to unite both regional musicians and the local community of Auburn to help support the Ukraine.
"Humanitarian Aid for the Ukraine," is happening that Sunday afternoon from 1 – 5PM. Three bands will perform on the purple stage, donating their time and talents. These include The Light, Moe Bauso, and The Lunch Ladies.
Benefit patrons will enjoy complimentary pizza and snacks provided by Angelo’s Pizza. The event will also offer a cash bar, 50/50s and a raffle.
For those interested in having their own spot for seating, reserving a table is encouraged – the fee is $10 per seat and all proceeds will go to the Ukrainian fund. Please text or call Lynn at 315-406-7455 to make reservations.
This event is being sponsored by local businesses including Aversa Insurance, Irv Lyons Jr. Music, Osteria Salina, Angelo’s Pizza, Savannah Bank, Moondog’s Lounge, and Bianchi’s Autobody. Moondog’s Lounge will be transferring the benefit proceeds to St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church “Humanitarian Aid for the Ukraine.”
