National Women’s Hall of Fame Move to Seneca Knitting Mill

Current Hall location closing end of October, 2019

Seneca Falls, NY: - The National Women’s Hall of Fame has begun the process of moving into its new home at the Historic Seneca Mill Building at 1 Canal Street in Seneca Falls, NY. Moving in and establishing our presence at the new site will take time. On October 29, 2019, the Hall will close its operation at 76 Fall Street – enabling staff and volunteers to prepare exciting new exhibits and programs for public visitation at the Mill in the spring of 2020.

The Mill will be open for monthly special events over the winter. There is an “open house” on November 8, 2019 from 5-7 pm.  Plans are in progress to participate in the community’s It’s a Wonderful Life Weekend December 14 and 15,2019, and to welcome visitors during the Women’s March on the weekend of January 18 and 19, 2020.

Furthermore, we will be active on social media, communicating our important mission.  Nominations are open through January, 2020 for Inductees in the class of 2021.

Until the end of October, visitors are welcome to visit us at our current 76 Fall Street location.
