Grants for local
Individual Artists, Organizations & Arts Education
- Since 2013, Auburn Public Theater (APT) has administered the Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) program developed by the New York State Council On the Arts (NYSCA). The program ensures that arts funding reaches every part of New York State. APT distributes over $89,000 annually to our local community.
- Nonprofit community arts organizations, arts education programs and Individual artists who are located in Cayuga, Seneca, Yates, Ontario and Wayne counties and are not directly funded by NYSCA can apply for direct grants of up to $5000.
- Statewide Community Regrants (SCR) support enables emerging artists and organizations to grow professionally and to enhance the cultural climate in communities and neighborhoods where they live and work.
