The Family Bash experience begins at check-in (any-time after 12 noon), when guests will receive a New Year’s Eve welcome package and the key to their guestroom. Upon slipping into their favorite party attire (no dress code required, but flashy fun party wear encouraged), families can head down to the hotel’s Finger Lakes Ballroom (any-time after 7 PM) for the main event curated for family fun. Kids and grown-up kids alike can partake in: DJ-led dance offs on the dancefloor, dress up stations, karaoke, face painting, photo booth, electronic gaming tournaments (Wii), New Year’s Eve crafts like hat decorating, and activity tables for board gaming or coloring. To top it off, Magical John, who has wowed audiences all over the world, will perform an array of eye-popping acts throughout the evening, including magic, juggling, stilt walking, comedy and more.
Tweens and Teens who want to do their thing can head over to their own private ballroom at The Radisson called Club Teen, where another DJ will be playing all their favorite current tunes by request and they can show off their dance skills without mom and dad gawking. Magical John plans to make a special appearance at Club Teen, where he’ll demonstrate some “cooler” tricks and maybe reveal some magic secrets too. Other entertainment offerings during the night include ping pong, an indoor pool for splashing around, and ice-skating next door to the hotel (a separate ticket price is required for the ice rink).
Radisson’s Chef is pulling out all the stops for New Year’s Eve dinner as well. The family-themed buffet spread (included in the package price) served in the ballroom at the Family Bash will include ageless favorites such as: an assortment of snacks and appetizers, chicken fingers, French fries, hot dog and burger sliders, a pasta station, farm-fresh salads with accompaniments, a DIY sundae bar, popcorn, and more.
