PENGUIN BAY WINERY WINS GOLD!!!

    Penguin Bay Winery, located on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, took home multiple gold medals at the recent Pacific Rim International Wine Competition in California, Finger Lakes International Wine Competition and The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition and The Great American Wine Competition.

     The Pacific Rim International Wine Competition was founded in 1985 by a group of winemakers, vintners and educators passionate about making great wines accessible to the public. The Pacific Rim Competition is held at the historic National Orange Show Fairgrounds in San Bernardino, California for two days in every April. Penguin Bay was awarded with two gold medals for the 2017 Dry Rosé and the 2017 Riesling and a silver medal for their 2017 Rockhopper Rosé.

     The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition is a world class competition for a world class cause. The competition benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, a camp dedicated to bring smiles and memories to children with cancer since 2000! This year, Penguin Bay left with a gold medal for the 2017 Riesling and two silvers for  the 2017 Pinot Grigio and 2017 Dry Vidal Blanc.

    The Great American Wine Competition provides world-class assessment and added exposure to wines with their most influential panel of judges including Masters of Wine to wine industry writers and consultants. They have also recently created The Raise A Glass Foundation (RAGF) was created to support charities around the world. Two silver medals were awarded for the 2017 Dry Gewürztraminer and 2017 Riesling.
