KIDS ROCKWELL Summer Explorers | Drop-in Museum Activities
Wednesday, July 7, 2021 - Friday, August 6, 2021
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Suggested ages 5 to 12 | Included with Museum admission
Offered Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to pick up a self-guided kit that includes activities, games and take-home art projects all connected to weekly themes about our environments. Family visitors will be greeted by Rockwell Museum volunteers who will explain the activities and contents in the kits before you start your adventure and be available to answer any questions. Families can expect to spend between 30 – 90 minutes for the Summer Explorers program, intended to be completed at your own pace.
The Southeast Steuben County Mobile Library will make an appearance each Wednesday, 2 – 4 p.m. Families will be able to use their library card to check out books connected to that week’s theme.

Join us in celebrating the 13th mural of the Alley Art Project – Life in a Tapestry! Witness the unveiling of the mural, meet the student artists and designers, and check out the latest mural up close.

Artists' Trunk Show | Presented in Collaboration with Exhibit A
Free and open to the public
Artists will park their vehicles, pop their trunks and present their art during Corning’s Artists’ Trunk Show. Artwork will be for sale, so come prepared to see amazing art and support local artists.
Families welcome! Free Art on the Go! take-home kits for kids will be available from the Rockwell Education Department.
