May 06th, 2019

Watkins Glen, NY – The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is bringing together the best of Seneca Lake! Join us on Saturday, May 18 at beautiful Clute Park in Watkins Glen from 11am to 5pm for the Seneca Lake Wine and Food Festival! This event boasts over 200 wines to choose from for sampling, plus local artisan cheesemakers, educational (and delicious!) seminars, food truck row, live music – and more!

New this year, the festival will host Sommelier Joshua Carlsen, from Stonecat Café in Hector, to present fun and educational wine and food pairing seminars featuring local chefs including Jeremy Personius from Red Newt Bistro, Christina McKeogh from GRAFT wine + cider bar, and FLX Table. This VIP-style seminar is exclusive, with just 25 seats available! Enjoy samples of amazing local dishes, as Josh and the chefs explain the incredible process behind crafting these dishes and finding the perfect wine pairing. This seminar takes place at 11:30am and tickets are $50.

We’re also bringing back our popular Wine and Cheese Seminar, available at 1:30pm and 3:00pm, for $15 per person. Local wine educator Heather O’Grady Evans will share some of the most delicious artisan cheeses from the area. Savor these delicious local cheeses while learning more about how they’re made and why they’re so great with Seneca Lake wine!
