For Immediate Release Auburn, NY (3/26/20): During this uncertain time, supporting our fellow residents, local businesses & community stakeholders is an investment in everyone’s future quality of life. Our downtown businesses are at the forefront of our minds as restaurants, breweries, shops, cultural & entertainment venues close to the public with a very unclear future plan.

BID Weekly Drawing for Downtown Employee Gift Certificates BID is running a weekly drawing to directly support employees in need in our District. Each Friday for a month, we will draw four names for $25 gift certificates that can be redeemed at 40 downtown businesses. CENTRO Bus is continuing regular service to downtown Auburn until further notice. They are temporarily waiving rider fares for all locations as the regional transportation provider implements social distancing practices. Fares for taking the bus, as well as utilizing Call-A-Bus services, will be waived until further notice, thanks to the CNY Regional Transportation Authority.
