Ventosa Vineyards Earns 4 Accolades at the Berlin International Wine Competition
GENEVA, NEW YORK – Ventosa Vineyards is excited to announce that they took home 3 awards for their wine at the Berlin International Wine Competition in Berlin, Germany. This competition is a TRADE-ONLY blind judging panel. At the wine competition, the retail store buyer, sommelier, restaurant beverage director, hotelier, distributor and importer are the judges. These judges, whose livelihood rely upon their skill set, truly know what the consumer wants, as they receive on a daily basis the feedback from the consumer of what is good and what will sell.
Winners were as follows:
Semi Dry – 95 Points, Gold/Double Gold
Sangiovese – 94 points, Gold/Double Gold
New York Sangiovese Winery of the Year
2017 Tocai Friulano– 92 points, Silver
