Wine and Food: A Perfect Pairing Explore the Seneca Lake Wine Trail with unique events throughout the year

Jan 24th, 2022

There is no better way to gain an understanding of wine than to pair it with food. The Seneca Lake Wine Trail wants to break down the barriers of the perceived complexities of wine with casual, enjoyable experiences that are educational and delicious, all at the same time. The Trail recently revealed its full slate of wine and food pairing experiences for the year, and tickets are on sale now.
Chocolate and Wine Weekend takes place February 4-6, 2022. Each participating winery features a wine of their choice paired with a delicious dish that has chocolate as a key ingredient. Tickets to this event are sold out.
Flights and Bites is a new addition, taking place on Saturday, March 12, 2022. It is a one-day event that includes visits to five wineries for seated, immersive food and wine pairings. At each winery, attendees will enjoy a flight of three wines, each paired with three delicious “bites” – tapas-style food pairings. Tickets are $200 (plus taxes and processing fees) per table of 4.
Pasta and Wine takes place March 25-27, 2022 and features foods with pasta as a main ingredient, with a variety of savory, delicious recipes. Tickets are $60 (plus taxes and processing fees).
Spring Wine and Cheese takes place April 8-10, 2022 sponsored by Cabot Cheese. Wineries will prepare fabulous foods with cheese as a main theme. Tickets are $60 per person (plus taxes and processing fees).
Smokin’ Summer Kickoff takes place June 10-12, 2022 and features grilled and barbeque-friendly foods. Tickets are $50 per person (plus taxes and processing fees).
Deck the Halls 2022 will take place November 18-20 and December 2-4. This holiday-themed event is tremendously popular and celebrates the season with a festive atmosphere, seasonal food and wine pairings, and collectible ornaments at each winery.
Deck the Halls tickets are $120 (plus taxes and processing fees) per couple and $75 for a single ticket
(plus taxes and processing fees).
We encourage the use of designated drivers and offer tickets for $20 each (plus tax and fees).
The goal of the Wine Trail is to host these events in a way that protects the health and safety of winery
staff and our guests, so tickets are available at reduced quantities. They will sell quickly. All tickets are
on sale now on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail website: www.senecalakewine.com. Questions? Call the
Seneca Lake Wine Trail Office at 607-535-8080.
