World-Class Magicians Astound at Dinner Magic at the Cellar Restaurant

Sep 19th, 2019

Owego, N.Y. – Five magicians will converge at The Cellar Restaurant in Owego on September 27th and September 28th starting at 5 p.m. for a night filled with magic, mystery, and amazement. These magicians specialize in close-up magic and will entertain guests with performances in the dining area and bar. Close-up magic is when illusions are performed within feet, and even inches, of the audience and often involve direct interaction. Dinner Magic at the Cellar Restaurant has become a popular anticipated event and the owner, Sandy Layman, is not only excited to host the magicians again, but to watch the show. “These guys do absolutely unbelievable tricks right in front of you. They don’t wear sleeves and as many times as I have seen them perform, I am still blown away by their talent,” said Layman.

Owego native and renowned magician, Kozmo, will be one of the performers during Dinner Magic at the Cellar Restaurant. Kozmo, whose real name is Ted Brainard, is a legendary street performer who has thrilled audiences from Bourbon Street to The Great Wall of China with his hilarious brand of magic. He will be joined by another local magician, Nate Hickey, of Apalachin, as well as Garrett Thomas, a practitioner and teacher of The Art of Real Magic from Western New York, Doc Eason, a magician from Colorado that is known for his mystifying bar magic, and Joe Maxwell from New York City who specializes in close-up magic with a humorous touch. Together, they will entertain guests as they eat and drink throughout the evening.

A non-refundable deposit of $15 per person is required to reserve a seat and patrons will choose from a select menu of entrées ranging from $15 to $30 for dinner. All entrees include soup or salad and a side. To see the menu and for more information, go to www.thecellarrestaurant.com. To make reservations, call 607-687-2016.
