Go from the basement to the belvedere of Rose Hill Mansion.  Please be advised that there are many stairs to climb, a dirt floor basement and some confined spaces included in the tour.  The tour lasts an hour. Recommended for adults and children over 10 years old. As space is limited, reservations are required and can be purchased at historicgeneva.org. The tour lasts an hour.

Free summer concert at Rose Hill Mansion! Bring a picnic dinner, lawn chairs or a blanket. Enjoy an evening of music on the lawn to end a summer weekend in the Finger Lakes. On Sunday, July 7, The 3 of Us, featuring Diana-Jacobs, Dave Kuykendall and Geneva's own Jimmy Richmond will perform a blend of rhythm and blues and funk.

The last regular tour of Rose Hill Mansion will run at 3:30 p.m. There will be no house tours during the concerts. The Carriage House Gift Shop will be open during the concerts. The concerts are free and open to the public.  For more information about the concert series or Rose Hill Mansion, call Historic Geneva at 315-789-5151 or Rose Hill at 315-789-3848.  Rose Hill Mansion is a property of Historic Geneva. Kayak lessons are a great way to improve your skills in the world of kayaking. This Saunders Finger Lakes Museum class will help newcomers to kayaking with beginning skills, and will help the intermediate level kayakers to refine their strokes, and add more skills to their kayaking repertoire. Current skill level will be evaluated at the beginning of class. Classes will be taught by ACA certified Museum personnel.

This is our most popular class! You'll learn basic paddling skills on the land, and then paddle around the North end of Canandaigua Lake. After paddleboarding, we'll come together as a group for a yoga class designed to ease tensions that might rise up from learning to balance on the board. The perfect mix of movement and stillness. This class is for all levels and no prior experience is required!

What’s better than a summer thunder moon evening paddle and refreshments by a bonfire? Led by Saunders Finger Lakes Museum’s NYS Outdoor Guides and Educators, this evening paddle will take guests out onto the waters of Keuka Lake, through wetlands, and back up Sugar Creek. The night ends with snacks around the bonfire.

Celebrating the finale of ChamberFest Canandaigua's 20th Anniversary Season, we're joined by conductor Evan Maccarello, a full orchestra, and a slate of incredible soloists for an exuberant evening of music.  A young Mozart, eager to break the norms of Salzburg, blends the styles he had recently encounter on a Parisian tour intros completely innovative concerto for a modes orchestra and two soloists: violin and viola.  Decades later, Beethoven similarly sought to elevate the piano trio as a soloist, a daring endeavor in balancing three extremely unique voices in an altogether virtuosic and vibrant work.

Have you ever wanted to try a kayak or canoe out for the first time? Curious to learn more about Sugar Creek and the Townsend-Grady Wildlife Preserve wetlands? Come to the Saunders Finger Lakes Museum to speak with staff and volunteers while enjoying some time out on the water and in the wetlands! Kayaks and paddles, canoes and paddles, and life jackets for children and adults are available to use at the museum. Or bring your own!
