Spring has finally arrived, and we're anxiously watching the vineyards for the first signs of new growth. We've been fortunate that the winter was relatively mild, and we didn't see any of the rapid temperature drops that can cause vine damage. Above-average temperatures in March have started to bring the vines out of dormancy, and the vineyard team was certainly appreciating all those bright sunny days as they finished up the pruning. We're keeping our fingers crossed for continued mild temperatures throughout April, as tiny buds like the one shown above can be affected by a late-season cold snap. This vine is in our Cabin Block, and in just a few short months will produce our 2021 Chardonnay!

Another sure sign of spring: our cabins will soon be opening for the season! Take advantage of our off-season weeknight special: book one night at our regular rate, and get the remainder of your stay at half price! Throughout April and May, you can add up to four additional weeknights at the reduced rate, just by booking one weeknight at full price! When you're ready for a little break from reality, our cabins are the perfect place to kick back, relax, and rejuvenate. Nestled among the pine trees behind the tasting room, each cabin is fully equipped with a comfy bed, full bathroom, cozy sitting room, heat and a/c, microwave, mini-fridge, outdoor charcoal grill and firepit, and all the comforts of home.

Warmer weather is gradually making its way into the Finger Lakes, and with it comes a welcome influx of traffic into the tasting room. To ensure that your visit is everything you want it to be, we suggest that you use our reservation system to book a table in advance. For the safety of our guests and staff, we continue to adhere to masking and distancing regulations. Also, please note that our maximum group size is six people, so invite five friends, book your table, and come on over to discover a whole new dimension in wine tasting at Buttonwood Grove!
Join us for our spring Members-Only Experience!
Pick up your spring Wine Club shipment and enjoy an exclusive vineyard-side tasting! The event will include a complimentary glass of wine of your choice, barrel or tank samples specially selected by our winemakers, a plate of cheese and charcuterie, and a behind-the-scenes tour. Weather permitting, this experience will be hosted outdoors and might even include a look at the vineyards, so please dress comfortably. Multiple start times are available, but seating is limited, so don't wait:
