Join us to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Erie Canal at the first-ever Brutus Erie Canal Festival on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 9:30AM to 3:00PM at Centerport Aqueduct Park, Route 31, Weedsport, NY!
This FREE, family-friendly event brings history to life with live music by LJ Barrigar, Owasco Valley Fiddlers, Weedsport kids fun run along the canal, a pie eating contest, old fashioned kid’s games, engaging historical and educational presentations, food, local vendors, historical displays, and more.
Presented by the Town of Brutus, the Festival invites everyone to commemorate the evolution of the Erie Canal and to discover the spirited history of the Brutus community just off NYS Thruway Exit 40.
