Family Day: Unfinished Revolutions
At this family-oriented event, visitors can celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America with historic crafts and activities and a 1776-themed themed scavenger hunt.
Activities available for both children and adults. Play traditional games and learn about Rose Hill’s history as a farm by visiting live farm animals. Visit Rose Hill’s seasonal exhibit Doing History to learn about the ongoing work of historic preservation.
Connect with the Geneva History Museum’s exhibit Unfinished Revolutions. The struggle to provide “liberty and justice for all” is on-going. Several community partners will be in attendance with activities and information to highlight some of the work being done to continue the fight for liberty, equality, and justice. Both children and adults will be encouraged to contribute to history by the actions we take now.
The Carriage House Gift Shop will be open during the event.
