Experience the energy, beauty, and tradition of live music and dance as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Little Gather during our Summer of Wonder with the Allegany River Seneca Dancers!

Through traditional songs, dances, live music, and cultural storytelling, the Allegany River Seneca Dancers share the richness of Seneca language and culture in a performance that is both educational and entertaining. Audiences will learn about the origins of featured songs and dances while enjoying the movement, music, and vibrant regalia that make this experience so special. The performance may also include the Iroquois Smoke Dance, a fast-paced contest dance that is always exciting to see.

Performing at colleges, museums, powwows, and festivals since the mid-1980s, the Allegany River Seneca Dancers offer an engaging and memorable experience for audiences of all ages. This performance also offers a meaningful connection to CMoG’s installation, Glass in the Hodi:nohšö:nih Confederacy, which centers Seneca perspectives and voices.

This program is perfect for youngsters aged 11 and under, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
