On Sunday, August 24th, from 4-5 PM, Derrick Pratt from the Erie Canal Museum, will examine the experience of African Americans along the Erie Canal Corridor, with particular focus on the struggle for Abolition. The program will be at Opendore, 2978 County Rte. 34B in Sherwood NY. A zoom link can be accessed by emailing hssmsherwood@gmail.com the week before the program.
