Steamboats on the FingerLakes

Gary Emmerson will present a program on Steamboats on the Finger Lakes. They were a vitally important part of transportation, commerce and tourism on the Finger Lakes from the early 19th century through the early 20th century. These vessels facilitated trade, connected travelers to resorts and played a role in the prosperity of the region's developing industries, particularly winemaking.
