WaterMusic & Dancing on the Trail is an annual quirky and fun celebration of music & movement on Ithaca’s waterfront for the enjoyment of paddlers and trail users. WaterMusic presents music and dance performances by solo artists, duos and small bands and community groups. In 2025, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the completion of the Cayuga Waterfront Trail at the Farmers Market where the ribbon cutting was held in 2015.
The Ithaca Farmers Market is your gateway to WaterMusic. Walk, bike, paddle or drive to the Market to enjoy music, dance and food offerings by market vendors. The Farmers Market will host seven performance areas - four under cover in the pavilion and three outside along the Waterfront Trail. From the market you can paddle the Inlet or walk and bike up to two miles to enjoy performance areas at the Crew Cove Overlook, Lookout Point, and the Cass Park Dragon Boat Docks.
Join us for an evening of surprises along Ithaca’s lovely Waterfront Trail between the Ithaca Farmers Market and the Dragon Boat docks in Cass Park, including Lookout Point at the Boatyard Grill.
