The weekend-long Brave Brews: Celebrating Women in Craft Beverage Festival was inspired by the local success of Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day® held at Prison City Brewing. Part of a national brewing collaborative project sponsored by the Pink Boots Society® to commemorate International Women’s Day, Prison City’s annual brew day participation has expanded from 20 to 100 participants over the past five years. This annual ritual will once again feature an expanded weekend of events in partnership with the City of Auburn’s Historic and Cultural Sites Commission and the New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center.
