Drawing Basics Workshops with Kristin Malone
Friday, June 11th, 10a-4p
The process of drawing is a way of slowing down, looking, seeing, and centering.
This workshop is an introduction to some basic approaches to drawing what we see. It is designed for those who have little or no instruction/experience, as well as those who want to start drawing again. It will include instruction, demonstrations, handouts, and plenty of practice and feedback. The emphasis will be on the process of drawing rather than on creating “finished” drawings.
Program Fee: $70
Please contact email@example.com to register. Both programs for this weekend with an overnight stay in the mansion are available for $200. Please bring your own lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.
Some materials will be provided:
Drawing boards, paper, drawing pencils, sharpie markers
Participants are invited to bring a pencil or two and spiral bound sketchbooks if you’d like (about 9×12” or whatever you may have available).
