Did you know that 2020 marks the 200th anniversary of Susan B. Anthony's birth and marks the 100th anniversary of women getting the right to vote? Quite a year!
You might not know the story behind the passage of the 19th amendment and the role the women of Sterling and upstate NY played in making that happen. We are presenting a dramatic reading of letters between Susan B and Elizabeth Cady Stanton and others -- brought to us by Dorothy Cooper, who was previously a docent of the Susan B. Anthony House in Rochester. She has performed this "play" in various locations and we are delighted to be able to offer it here.
