Nine Murals. Nine Villages. Nine Festivals.
The first-ever county-wide mural festival hosted in New York State will be happening in Livingston County this July. The LivCo Walls Mural Festival will welcome nine international artists to paint large-scale murals in each of the nine villages of Livingston County.
The nine villages of Livingston County are: Avon, Caledonia, Dansville, Geneseo, Leicester, Lima, Livonia, Mount Morris and Nunda. Each community has a charming downtown district where the mural will be located. These downtowns are pedestrian friendly and easy to navigate and each is lined with historic sites, small shops, and eateries.
Watch the artists paint throughout the month, meet each artist at a local artist talk, and join us for the final unveiling of each mural over the course of three weekends at festivals featuring dedication ceremonies, art activities for families, food, craft beverages, art demonstrations, live music and performances, and so much more in each village.

Interactive art activities are the name of the game at the Caledonia celebration with live music, local food, and craft beverages.
Art Activities from 2 pm to 5 pm
Adventures & Art — Visit Miss Emily to explore the Creativity Garden, enjoy hands-on activities, and decorate a canvas bag to take home. Colorful pinwheels made by Miss Emily’s students will be on display throughout the village
Art Kiosks on Main Street — Check out the kiosk murals displayed on Main Street, & participate in finishing these art creations!
Community Art Display at The Village Gallery — Visit the art exhibit featuring works by local artists and crafters on display throughout the day
Facepainting — Have your face painted and wear your art! Find us on Main Street.
Rock Painting — Create your own Caledonia painted rock! Find us on Main Street.
Sidewalk Chalk Art — Use your imagination, color, and design to create chalk art in the alleyway next to the Town Office
Live Music from 2pm to 8pm
The Music Stage is located along Pioneer Street near the fire station.
2pm — Not Half Bad Local musicians playing music that lifts the spirit while making folks smile, sing, clap their hands, and tap their toes
3:15pm — Orange Dog Club Indie rock garage band
4pm — Don and the Day Drinkers Classic rock with songs from the 1970s and more.
6pm — Delilah Jones A high-energy improvisational jam band from Rochester NY featuring the music of the Grateful Dead.
8pm — Money Shot A fun function, pub, and party band with songs spanning genres, time and space. Rock, pop, indie, soul, and more.
Food trucks, local restaurants, & vendors will have food available throughout the day including Angry Rooster, Cozy Kitchen, Fried Dough, Pizzaland, & Reminisce. The Caledonia Fire Department will also be selling beer, wine & cider.
