Vortex Special is a band steeped in the rich musical traditions of American Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues, Jazz, Surf, and classic heist movie soundtracks. They primarily play original music, but they also do original takes on songs by artists they love–from Tom Waits to the Talking Heads.
