A Halloween-themed fun walk will take place on October 29th when Radisson Corning hosts a Spooktacular 5K for all ages and fitness levels benefitting Steuben County Habitat for Humanity. Stepping off from Radisson Corning at 10 am, participants are encouraged to come dressed in costume and parade around beautiful downtown Corning with family and friends (route maps will be provided). The “Costumes for a Cause” event will end at the hotel, where an after party will kickoff at 11 am featuring live music by Doc Possum, 50/50 and basket raffles, food and drink specials, and costume contests. Prizes for best costume will be awarded for the following categories: scariest, funniest, most creative, and best overall. All participants who dress up will receive a goodie bag. Registration opens at 9 am at the hotel with 100% of the $10 registration fee proceeds (including the raffle) going to Habitat for Humanity.
