Jaynee and Guy Straw have owned the property for nine years, and converted the Second Empire Victorian
to a five-room bed and breakfast in the Finger Lakes Region.
1840 Inn on the Main has received Trip Advisor's coveted "Award of Excellence" for 2013, an award
that is given only to the top 10 percent of worldwide listings by the world's largest travel site. The award
is given when a B&B or hotel provides a consistent five-star rating, based on guest reviews. According
to Trip Advisor, it has more than 1 million accommodation listings globally with 700,000 of them being
hotels and bed and breakfasts.
