Bedroom Tales Tours Begin June 12 with the Geneva Historical Society at Rose Hill Mansion

Geneva, N.Y.: In this special tour of Rose Hill Mansion, visitors will discover what went on behind closed doors in homes of the 1800s. Bedroom Tales focuses on the role of bedrooms as spaces for personal hygiene, sickness, childbirth, death, and intimacy. The tour includes mature content and is not appropriate for children.
 
Bedroom Tales will run twice a month from June to September. On Tuesday, June 12, July 10, August 14 and September 11 the tour is at 2 p.m. On Saturday, June 9, July 14, August 11, and September 8 the tour is at 11 a.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors.
 
These special tours are not the same as our regular tours. As space is limited, reservations are required for this tour. They may be made by calling Rose Hill Mansion at 315-789-3848.
 
The Rose Hill Mansion Gift Shop is open whenever the house is open. The shop carries historically-inspired and locally made items, as well as souvenirs, history books, jewelry and home decorative items.
 
Rose Hill Mansion is located at 3373 Route 96A, about a mile south of Routes 5&20, near Geneva, New York. The house is open May 1 to October 31, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The grounds are open year round, free of charge.
