Cayuga Museum to host spring vendor market

Mar 16th, 2023

Spring is nearly here, and it’s time to start searching for your summer look! On Sunday, March 26 from 2-4 PM, at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art’s Carriage House Theater, come visit the “Fabrication Spring Vendor Market.” Inspired by the Cayuga Museum’s newest exhibition, “Fabrication: Telling Stories through Clothing," explore the work of over a dozen local fabric artisans, designers, and boutiques in this special, one-time only pop-up vendor market.

Entry to the vendor market will be $5 at the door, $10 if you would also like to explore the Cayuga Museum while you visit. All are welcome to participate in a give n' take pile of clothing and such- remaining items will be donated to Cayuga/Seneca Action Agency's clothes closet for women.

The Carriage House Theater is located at 203 Genesee St. in Auburn, behind the Cayuga Museum. Limited parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Carriage House Theater and the Schweinfurth Art Center parking lots. Overflow parking is also available in the lots of the Plaza of the Arts, Cayuga County Municipal Lot, Unity House LOWER (West) lot marked for Employees Only, Genesee Elementary School, and the downtown parking garage all within a few blocks of the Museum campus. Street parking is also available within the immediate neighborhood and off Genesee Street.
