Press Release: Cayuga Museum to Re-Open After Five Months of Off Site Programming

The staff at your community Museum have very exciting news! The Cayuga Museum will officially reopen to the public on Wednesday, August 5 (with a special, Members Only preview on the 4th)!

For your safety, some new procedures will be implemented.

Most Importantly:

-ADMISSION IS BY RESERVATION ONLY! Up to 20 individuals will be allowed in the Museum during a two-hour block in the morning or afternoon. Make sure to call ahead to make your reservation at 315-253-8051. Purchasing tickets for your party before your visit is highly encouraged.

-NEW HOURS! We are now open from Wednesday-Saturday every week. Hours of operation will be organized in two blocks: 10-12 PM, and 1-3 PM. Please make your reservation in one of these block times.

-MASKS ARE REQUIRED! All staff and visitors older than two years old are required to wear face coverings that cover both mouth and nose upon arrival to the Museum and throughout their visit.

-MEMBERS ONLY HOURS! Cayuga Museum members will have exclusive access to the Museum every Tuesday, following the same schedule of operation.

-VISITING THE CASE RESEARCH LABORATORY! A visit to the Case Research Laboratory (the birthplace of sound film!) is included in your admissions costs. A staff member will guide you to the laboratory at the appropriate time during your two-hour visit, and will be available on hand to answer any questions you may have about this major historic site!
