Corning's Gaffer District Announces 22nd Annual Tree Lighting & Parade of Lights Street Closings

Nov 21st, 2016

Corning, NY – Corning's Gaffer District and Centers Health Care are pleased to announce the 22nd annual Tree Lighting & Parade of Lights on Sunday, November 27 at 4:30pm.

To avoid conflicting with Small Business Saturday, November 26, the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade of Lights will be held on Sunday, November 27. Small Business Saturday is an important day for our small business owners, it's a day dedicated to encouraging the community to "shop local." Supporting our small businesses is vital to the Corning community and our economy.

New this year, the Centerway Square and Bridge Street tree ceremonies will begin simultaneously at 4:30pm. Prior to the tree lighting on Bridge Street, the new Northern Lights Celebration presented by Arbor Development offers family-friendly activities from 3–4:30pm.

“The entire Centers Health Care family shares the excitement of our Steuben and Corning Centers, to once again to sponsor these amazing events with the Gaffer District this holiday season,” said Kenny Rozenberg, CEO of Centers Health Care.  “As we think about our residents and their families at this time of the year, we are reminded once again of just how amazing our residents and employees are, and what an honor we have been given to be the home these wonderful people have chosen.”

Market Street  (Bridge to Wall)
