The Friday night tradition of Finger Lakes wine and craft beer tastings in select Gaffer District businesses is from 5–8pm. Guests may participate in the tastings by purchasing a souvenir wine and beer glass at one of three checkpoints throughout the district (Centerway Square, the Radisson Hotel Corning and Lando’s). Cost to participate is $15 and is restricted to individuals age 21 and older. Photo ID is required for all participants. Pre-sale tickets are currently available for purchase at the Information Center of Corning. Designated Drivers can participate in a special program sponsored by Bottles & Corks. The DD in your group will receive a FREE wristband, which will entitle him/her to a variety of great specials and promotions at participating businesses in the Gaffer District.

Music will fill Downtown Corning’s Centerway Square, starting Friday, September 16 with Rebecca and the Soul Shakers at 7pm. On Saturday, September 17 at 5pm, listen to a free concert by Nashville country music artists, Restless Heart known for their american country hits like "I’ll Still Be Loving You," “Fast Movin’ Train” and "When She Cries." Restless Heart celebrates more than 30 years and is still going strong with the same five original guys.

Due to the nature of the venue, admission is free and seating is limited. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs if desired.

Visitors are also invited to participate in Saturday’s scarecrow scavenger hunt, family-friendly activities, a tractor display and the Corning Farmers Market, featuring local baked goods, produce, flowers and crafts.
