Corning’s Gaffer District welcomes a new business, Studio LMG located at 115 West Market Street a full service print, copy and design center to Corning’s downtown.
Owner, Laura Matson would like to invite the public to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Studio LMG on Thursday, September 29 at 12:30pm. Please join her for a tour of the space and some light hors d’oeuvres.
As a manager and graphic artist in the printing industry for over 18 years, Laura wanted to offer a print and design center in Downtown Corning for artists, business-owners and organizations. Matson states, “For the past few years I have felt that there was a need for a print and design center in Downtown Corning where people can come with any size job and get a great product with a fast turnaround.”
Studio LMG is a full service print, copy and design center that offers a friendly atmosphere and a wide range of services including: wide format printing, full color brochures, business cards, graphic design, logo design, vinyl banners, posters, bulk mail, direct mail, and outdoor vinyl lettering for your window or auto. They also run a full range of finishing services including laminating and mounting. Studio LMG offers self-serve computers and self-serve copiers. Customers can check their email, send a fax, and print or scan documents.
Studio LMG offers digital and large run printing including: color copies, postcards, and rackcards. They also offer logistic services for local law offices including: binding, copying, scanning, and trial exhibits. Studio LMG is the only local print center to offer Fine Art Giclee Printing on canvas or watercolor art paper, and specializes in limited edition art prints. Giclee has quickly become a new standard in the art industry for its astonishing quality by major museums, galleries, and artists.
Matson explained, “I believe my market will be mixed with artists who want to sell prints in my store, or just hire my services to print for them; contractors that need forms and yard signs or hospitals that want banners and signage. I plan to cater to tourists with local art prints, local scenic cards, mugs, and apparel, which I’ll produce right here in the studio. For banks, realtors, insurance companies, and nonprofits, I will offer a wide range of custom designed promotional products which include pens and pencils, apparel, lanyards and badge holders, drinkware, calendars, awards and recognition.”

Current hours for Studio LMG are Monday through Friday, 9am–5:30pm.
