Corning’s Gaffer District is pleased to announce the 14th annual Cabin Fever wine and beer tasting event on Friday, March 10 from 5-8pm, sponsored by Big Fox TV, WINK 106, and Bottles & Corks.
Running one night only, Cabin Fever will feature world-class Finger Lakes wine in addition to local and craft brews. The cost to participate is $15 per person and includes collectible wine and beer glasses, along with unlimited tastings throughout Corning's Gaffer District.
“Cabin Fever is one of those events that really helps draw local residents and visitors to our downtown during the winter months,” said Coleen Fabrizi, Executive Director of Corning’s Gaffer District. “The winter season can feel pretty long and drawn out, and a night out with friends and family helps ease the transition into warmer weather. With more than 20 wineries and breweries tucked inside our businesses through Corning’s Gaffer District, Cabin Fever offers tastings, fabulous food, and great shopping. This event is the perfect way to cure your winter blues.”
The Gaffer District is proud to announce continued support from Cabin Fever sponsors Big Fox TV and WINK 106, in addition to the Drink Responsibly Designated Driver Appreciation Program, sponsored by Bottles & Corks. The program promotes responsible consumption, and encourages everyone to enjoy the event with a designated driver.
Select businesses in the Gaffer District will offer free, non-alcoholic drinks, and other tokens of appreciation to designated drivers during the wine and craft beer tasting event.
Those wishing to participate in the wine and beer tasting may check in beginning at 5pm at one of three check-in locations: The Information Center of Corning, Radisson Hotel Corning, and Lando’s Hotel and Lounge. A complimentary shuttle will run between Market St. and Bridge St., with stops in front of Lando’s, Tony R’s and the Corner of Market St. at Wall St.
