Dr. Frank Dry Riesling Wins International Riesling Foundation Trophy

Hammondsport, New York – May 13, 2013 – The Dr. Konstantin Frank 2012 Dry Riesling won one of the four coveted International Riesling Foundation trophies at the recent Riverside International Wine Competition.  The trophy was given to the Dr. Frank 2012 Dry Riesling after judges at the competition unanimously voted the wine to be of the highest quality in the Dry Riesling category.

Dr. Frank’s 2012 Dry Riesling is an excellent example of the winery’s commitment to the production of world class Rieslings. In addition, the wine serves as an example of the outstanding quality that came out of the 2012 growing season.  “We are honored to receive the International Riesling Trophy for our 2012 Dry Riesling and believe this to be a great testament to the Finger Lakes.”, said Fred Frank.

 

The Dr. Frank 2012 Semi-Dry Riesling and 2012 Riesling Reserve also won gold medals at the Riverside International Wine Competition.
