Dr. Frank Semi-Dry Riesling Scores “92 Point” Rating at Beverage Testing Institute World Value Wine Challenge

Hammondsport, New York – October 16, 2014 – At the recent Beverage Testing Institute World Value Wine Challenge, the Dr. Konstantin Frank 2013 Semi-Dry Riesling scored “92 Points” and was also named a “Top 10 White Wine $15 and Under.”

So far this year, the Dr. Konstantin Frank 2013 Semi-Dry Riesling has also won gold medals at the Indy International Wine Competition, the Long Beach Grand Cru Competition, Eastern Exposition Wine Competition and NYS Fair Wine Competition.

The Dr. Frank 2013 Dry Riesling and 2012 Chardonnay also scored excellent ratings at the Beverage Testing Institute World Value Wine Challenge.  The 2013 Dry Riesling scored “91 Points” and the 2012 Chardonnay scored “90 Points”.

 

Dr. Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars is known as “New York’s Most Award-winning Winery” and it’s easy to see why.  So far this year, the winery has won 101 gold medals and numerous 90 plus ratings.

 

Located on Keuka Lake a few miles north of Hammondsport, Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars has long been associated with the New York wine revolution. Its founder, Dr. Konstantin Frank, helped pioneer the introduction of the European vitis vinifera grapevines in the eastern United States. For his contributions in the American wine industry he was inducted into the Wine Spectator’s “Hall of Fame.”
