Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty Harvest Dinner

Jul 23rd, 2013

You are cordially invited to the 2013 Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty Harvest Dinner at 6pm on Monday, August 5. Please join us for local food, live music, and a festive auction at Geneva on the Lake, 1001 Lochland Road, Route 14, Geneva, NY. Special overnight accommodations are also available (see below).

The menu is mouthwatering: Heirloom tomatoes, a cheese extravaganza, pickled garlic scapes, cheddar bisque, slow roasted duck, beef tenderloin, peach napoleon, strawberry cheesecake ice cream… the list goes on and on. This collaboration of more than 25 farmers, chefs, and beverage-makers highlights the incredible culinary talent of our region. See the full menu below, or check out the FLCB website.

For each course served, the farmer who grew the food, the chef who prepared it, and the creator of the beverage paired with it will all speak to the composition of the dish. Plus, the true bounty of the Finger Lakes will be represented in both the live and silent auctions. Rare Finger Lakes wines, a private dinner for 6 prepared by a professional chef, and unique one-of-a-kind artwork are just a few of the items available.

Seating is limited, so please make your reservation today by calling 1-800-3 GENEVA or 315-789-7190. Tickets are $75, all inclusive.

Proceeds from the dinner support the nonprofit Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty and its mission to strengthen connections across the Finger Lakes food system. FLCB began as a program facilitated by Cornell Cooperative Extension – Tompkins County, and recently became an independent non-profit with a mission to foster relationships within the marketplace and educate consumers about local food and beverages.
