Watkins Glen, NY – The Finger Lakes Wine Festival is in the running to be named the Best Wine Festival in a USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice contest! The nominees for Best Wine Festival were announced recently and the Finger Lakes Wine Festival represents one of the finalists competing for a spot in the winners list. Last spring, Watkins Glen State Park was voted the #3 State Park in the Country, last summer Watkins Glen International was voted the #1 NASCAR Track in the Country in similar contests in those categories, and just yesterday, the voting closed on the Best Waterfront Hotel contest – in which our very own Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was leading throughout the voting. We are waiting to hear the official results on that one, but in the meantime, let’s get voting and land another Schuyler County attraction at the top!”
