Rev Reopening: June 7
It's Happening!! Rev is officially re-opening its doors to the public on Monday, June 7!
We are very excited to welcome back members, partners, sponsors, guests, and all the other members of our startup community. The pandemic has slowed down lots of things, but our members weren’t one of them. Many of our members adapted to meet the challenges the pandemic delivered and continued to grow and thrive, despite the unexpected hurdles. Now, with Rev’s doors set to officially open again, we are eager to see Rev return to a place where members and friends can resume meetings, coffee dates, and drop-ins.
Starting June 1, the following policies will go into effect at Rev and guests will be welcomed starting June 7:
- Everyone must continue to sign in at the front entrance upon their arrival.
- Members and Rev staff who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks or socially distance.
- Members and Rev staff who are not fully vaccinated must continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.
- All guests (non-members and staff) must wear masks and practice social distancing, regardless of vaccination status.
- We will continue to update you on changes to these policies.
Finally, we are also thrilled to share that Rev’s first outdoor Networking Night is scheduled for June 30 at member startup South Hill Cider from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Save the date and get ready for a joyous reunion of our local startup community! We will send more details soon.

A Brighter Future: Climate Tech Innovation Fueled by Diverse Founders
Wednesday, June 9 (1:00 p.m. EDT)
In 2020, COVID-19 cast a dark pall over nearly every sector of the global economy. The one exception? Cleantech. Year over year, all top cleantech index funds saw 100% returns or more. If anything, the pandemic catalyzed a greater sense of urgency to address the impacts of climate change on humans and the planet. This is especially true in traditionally marginalized communities, where climate impacts are exacerbating longstanding economic and health disparities.
Now, as the world’s largest economies renew legislative focus on reducing greenhouse gases and funding cleantech innovation, potential startup founders have fresh opportunities. For diverse founders — including women and BIPOC — the timing is particularly ripe. With the expansion of designated venture funds, accelerators, and mentorship programs, diverse founders have a firmer foundation for launching and growing successful cleantech startups. Most importantly, diverse founders are ready to incorporate underserved communities into their innovation, ensuring that all people benefit from cleantech solutions.
Attend "A Brighter Future: Cleantech Innovation Fueled by Diverse Founders" on June 9 (1:00 p.m. EDT) to hear from a panel of Cornell faculty and experienced startup founders about fast-moving opportunities in cleantech and specific initiatives focused on developing and supporting diverse founders in the industry.
