Heron Hill Tasting Room in Canandaigua hosts Open House on Small Business Saturday

Nov 12th, 2015

Heron Hill offers a reprieve from the bustle of Black Friday shopping by inviting the community to Mix + Mingle at the Tasting Room at Bristol for Small Business Saturday on November 28th from 11 AM to 7 PM. The tasting room is the former South Bristol Cultural Center, housed in a renovated 100-year-old barn. Heron Hill will donate $1 from each wine tasting on November 28th to the Happy Tails Animal Shelter of the Ontario County Humane Society. Complimentary tastings of Heron Hill's newest reserve red wines will also be offered, along with samples of local food products and holiday-inspired mulled red wine. Nedloh Brewing Company and HomeTown Distillery will also join the festivities offering craft beer and craft spirits samples.

The first-ever Small Business Saturday took place in 2010; American Express is a founding partner of Small Business Saturday. The day is scheduled for the Saturday following Thanksgiving as a nationwide initiative to encourage people to support small, local businesses and to celebrate the sense of community these businesses help to cultivate. All three Heron Hill locations in the Finger Lakes will participate in Small Business Saturday including Heron Hill Winery in Hammondsport, and the Heron Hill Tasting Room on Seneca Lake in Himrod. A one-day only discount of 20-percent off any wine purchase of three or more bottles will be offered at all three locations.

The Tasting Room at Bristol is located in Canandaigua, NY at 5323 Seneca Point Road near Bristol Harbour Resort. This Heron Hill tasting room is managed by Elke Schmitt and is open daily in November and December with regular business hours from 12 to 6 PM.
