JANUARY 7, 2015 (PENN YAN, NY) – The Geneva couple who will appear on HGTV’s “House Hunters” chose to feature Fox Run Vineyards during the filming of their episode that will appear on Thursday, January 8th at 10 pm. The episode, “Couple Needs Space to Raise Twins in Upstate New York” follows Jessica and John Balduzzi of Geneva to a few of their favorite places in Jessica’s hometown during the filming of the show.
Fox Run was contacted by the show’s production company about a week before the scheduled filming to ask if they were interested in being filmed. Several different scenes were shot at the winery last June. The couple sat on the back patio looking out on the vineyard and enjoyed a glass of wine while browsing through the houses on a tablet. They were also filmed doing a wine tasting with co-owner Ruth Osborn.
“We were so excited that a local couple was chosen to be filmed for HGTV’s ‘House Hunters’ and that they wanted to include us,” says owner Scott Osborn. “Our staff is excited to see how Fox Run will be featured in the episode. New avenues that showcase the Finger Lakes are positive, and hopefully this will spark interest to a new audience about Upstate New York and Finger Lakes wineries.”
