The Inns of Aurora to Host Lamoreaux Landing Wine Dinner:
Award winning wines and fine dining paired to perfection

Aurora, N.Y. On Saturday, March 23, the Inns of Aurora will continue its epicurean series with a dinner featuring the wines of the critically-acclaimed Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars. The meal will feature five paired courses, with a reception wine and intermezzo, and will cost $75 ++ per person. The event begins with a 6:30 reception; dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. A full menu follows.

Recently hailed by Wine Enthusiast as a “fantastic Finger Lakes find”and one of Wine & Spirits magazine’s Top 100 Wineries of the World, Lamoreaux Landing has become a bastion of quality in the Finger Lakes region. Lamoreaux Landing holds a strong commitment to environmental sustainability  “especially in its attempts to promote soil biodiversity and has earned completed New York State’s Sustainable Viticulture Program.

Executive Chef Patrick Higgins’ elegant yet approachable menu will feature dishes designed to showcase specific wines from the vineyard. “I can’t wait,”comments Higgins, who “among others on the Inns’ culinary team” are especially excited to craft camembert “donuts” with truffle dust. Higgins and Director of Marketing Meryl Davis will be on hand to discuss the specific qualities of each wine and each dish and their pairings.
