The George Eastman Museum will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Animal House (Landis, US 1978) with a screening of a 35mm print of the film on Saturday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m. The film’s director, John Landis, and its costume designer, Deborah Nadoolman Landis, will introduce the film and, after the screening, will share stories and insights about the making of this classic.
Tickets for the event are $25 for general admission and $20 for Eastman Museum members, students, and people 17 and under. Tickets can be purchased at eastman.org/animalhouse.

John Landis is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer. He is best known for the comedy films that he has directed such as National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), The Blues Brothers (1980), An American Werewolf in London (1981), Trading Places (1983), Three Amigos (1986), Coming to America (1988), and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994). Deborah Nadoolman Landis is an Oscar-nominated costume designer, two-term president of the Costume Designers Guild, and director of the David C. Copley Center for the Study of Costume Design at UCLA. The two have been married since 1980.
