Casa Larga Vineyards again this year will host a Zweigle's and Casa Larga Hot Dog Taste Off on the 4th of July. Last year, over 300 people came to the winery to try samples of hot dogs with unique toppings, paired with wine.
At this year's event, guests will each receive a hot dog with three different topping combinations and then vote on their favorite topping. The topping combos are uniquely developed by the winery staff, based on wine pairings. Everyone who votes will be entered to win a catered hot dog picnic for 20 on Casa Larga's front patio. The catered picnic will include the winning hot dog combination, macaroni salad and wine.
The Fourth of July event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m on Saturday, July 4. Admission for the event is $8 per person, tickets are available online at www.CasaLarga.com and at the door.
