Keuka Spring Vineyards Launches New Label Design

Oct 03rd, 2016

For 31 years, Keuka Spring Vineyards, located on Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes, has used the same label for their wine bottles. This year the winery has introduced a new label and logo design.

"A wine label tells a story. It says something about who made the wine and what they are about. Keuka Spring has a history going back decades, but we are not stagnant. Our new label, modern and updated, speaks to who we are today: a part of the most dynamic and interesting wine region in America," said August Deimel, winemaker.

"As a team, we worked for several months to create an updated and exciting, forward-thinking yet approachable look and feel. We wanted an elegant look that conveys the excellence and quality of wine that is always inside the bottle. Signed by the Wiltberger family, the label highlights the beauty of grape-growing in our area, mentions blending tradition with innovation,  and talks about creating wines to love and share year after year. We kept the unique shape of Keuka Lake in the label, as Keuka Lake is part of our identity," said Jeanne Wiltberger, marketing coordinator.

Currently, three wine varieties in the tasting room bear the new label. More bottles are to be labeled with the new look, including the upcoming 2016 vintage.

Recently awarded Winery of the Year, Keuka Spring Vineyards is also a two-time winner of both the Governor’s Cup for best New York State wine and Best White Wine in America. They have been producing premium wines since 1985. Owners Len and Judy Wiltberger warmly invite you to their tasting room overlooking the east side of Keuka Lake at 243 Route 54, East Lake Road, Penn Yan.  For more information about their new label or to order their wines, please visit KeukaSpringWinery.com, or contact the winery at 315-536-3147.
