La Tourelle Hotel * Bistro * Spa in Ithaca New York has installed a Tesla electric vehicle charging station, and a Universal electric vehicle charging station for non-Tesla vehicles. Located in front of their historic yellow barn, each charging station has a dedicated parking space, and charges are free for guests of La Tourelle, August Moon Spa, The Bistro at La Tourelle, John Thomas Steakhouse and Firelight Camps.
This project was in partnership with the Tesla company, who provided the charging stations at no cost as part of Tesla’s Destination Charging program.
“For La Tourelle, providing the convenience of charging your vehicle while enjoying our hotel, spa or restaurants, is another step in providing our guests with exceptional experiences while at the same time following our mission of sustainability practices.” said Cameron Ostmeier, Resident Manager of La Tourelle.
Vehicle charging is complimentary for Tesla owners and guests of La Tourelle and its businesses. Members of the Ithaca and Tompkins County community are welcome to also use the charging stations at no cost, subject to their availability. Community members are requested to advise the hotel front desk before using.
