Live Music, Fresh Cut Christmas Trees, Unique Gifts and More – Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm Open House

Nov 29th, 2016

Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm holds open house Saturday, November 26 from 11-6pm

Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm is holding its Annual Open House this Saturday, November 26 from 11 am – 6pm. The open house will feature fresh cut Christmas trees, fresh wreaths and Centerpieces and unique gifts alongside free cookies, hot chocolate, roasting chestnuts and live music by Chris Farrar.

Strawberry Fields holds an open house every year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Visitors will also see alpacas sporting Santa hats and holiday scarves.

“Everyone is so excited to kick off the holiday season after Thanksgiving and our open house puts the season in full gear,” said Linda Eldred, owner of Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm. “Our open house is a great way to get the holiday season started while picking up some of the centerpieces for the holidays.”

Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farms offers strawberry picking from mid-June until the end of October. Visitors can also have guided tours, shop at the gift shop and taste many of the farm-to-table products at Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farms.

Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm is owned by Doug and Linda Eldred from the Skaneateles area. After much research about hydroponic growing, they decided to open Strawberry Fields U-Pick Hydroponic Farm in July of 2009. They have always enjoyed gardening but did not like all the weeding that goes along with it. So, they are very excited to offer this concept to our local community for the freshest tasting strawberries and vegetables. Bring your whole family (young and old) for an exciting experience picking farm fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables. You'll love this easy, clean concept and the taste!
