Lively Run Dairy announces the opening of its online store. It is up and running just in time for the holidays, so customers can get cheese delivered to their door for their holiday cheese platter, or for a loved one as a gift.

Lively Run's new online store will include the sale of all 7 of their goat and cow cheeses: Chèvre (in all herbed varieties), Seneca Blue Moon, Cayuga Blue, Goat Milk Feta, Finger Lakes Gold, Lake Effect Cheddar, Gorge Trail Gouda, and Blue Yonder. It will also include a “Cheese Board Specialâ€Â that allows customers to buy multiple cheeses with a discount, gift certificates, and eventually other Lively Run merchandise.

WHY:
Over the years, tourists that visit the Lively Run Farm and taste cheese have regularly asked Lively Run Store Owner, Suzanne Messmer, if they can order cheese online and get it shipped to their home. Their reasoning is usually that they live out-of-state and don’t want the cheese to go bad because of lack of refrigeration during their travels. Because of the high demand, Lively Run has worked hard over the last few months creating their online store. Customers in the continental United States can now order Lively Run's handcrafted artisanal cheeses for home delivery through the website. The online store lets customers get fresh Finger Lakes cheese at their convenience.
About the Farm:
Lively Run Goat Dairy is one of the longest operating commercial goat dairies in the country, beginning production in New York State in 1982 and pioneering goat cheese in the American marketplace. Their delicious artisan goat and cow cheeses have become a staple in kitchens across the Finger Lakes and beyond. Their products contain no preservatives, no food colorings, no artificial additives of any kind, and use only vegetable rennet.
