Romulus, NY ̶ June 14, 2017 Swedish Hill Winery, located on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, was honored with three gold medals at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
Blue Waters 2016 Dry Riesling received a gold medal and an exceptional score of 91 points. Swedish Hill 2016 Blue Waters Riesling and 2016 Riesling both received gold medals and a score of 90 points each. This is the 78th year of the Los Angeles International Awards. Entrants came from 17 countries and over 3,000 different wines were entered.
In addition, Swedish Hill brought home three silver medals and a bronze.
Swedish Hill Winery produces all of its wines at the Romulus, NY facility that was founded and remains in operation today by the Peterson Family. The Romulus facility include a tasting room that features 41 wine and distilled products, 22 of which are gold medalists.
